CPR, First Aid & Lifeguarding Courses
Courses in Red Cross CPR/AED, First Aid & Lifeguarding.

Please Note: Our community courses are typically taught in a “blended” format. Participants will be required to take an online at home portion of the course as well as an in person skill practice session. This format along with small class sizes, cuts down in person class time significantly.
Courses Offered:
CPR/AED
There are 2 types of CPR courses available based on the scenario you may be using your skills in. All course include pediatric & adult skills.
CPR/AED & First Aid - For the lay person ($75)
Basic Life Support - For those in healthcare professions (Does not include FA) ($65)

Lifeguarding
Lifeguarding course are taught quarterly and by scheduling a private group.
Participants will receive a Red Cross Lifeguarding certification that includes CPR/AED for the professional rescuer and First Aid training.
Participants must pass a basic skills test before taking the course consisting of:
Distance Swim Test (300 yards)
Weight retrieval and 25 yard swim (10lbs at 10ft)
Tread water for 2 mins
Blended and In person formats are offered. This course is taught over a 2-3 day period typically but can be adjusted to group needs. Both in class time as well as a full in water day are required.

Babysitters Course
This course is geared towards young teens interested in learning basic babysitting and early child care skills, including:
Basic Care for Infants and Children
Basic First Aid & CPR
Child Behavior & Age-Appropriate Activities
Emergency Protocols
Professionalism & Leadership
This course is typically taught over a few days or weeks depending on the group.
